Graphic design involves using visuals to communicate ideas\nand values. It has largely been used to design brand elements such as logo,\nsign, symbol, brand mascot etc. but most of the budding professionals believe\nthat designing attractive images using canva or any other creative designing\ntool and posting it daily on Social Media is Digital or Social Media Marketing.\nThey fail to understand the underlying concepts of digital &amp; social media\nmarketing which targets consumers precisely at the most relevant stage of its\npurchase journey with the right level of communication which addresses the\nconcerns of consumers. Driving traffic through arbitrary images is misleading\nfor Digital marketers because such creatives won\u2019t attract the right consumer,\nwhereas such visitors will only increase fake traffic or fake followers and\nwon\u2019t help in the long run. Memes attract\nattention &amp; entertain people. Many researchers believe that memes are risky\nbecause some meme attempts, despite being funny, can elicit negative feelings\nand thereby negatively affect consumer attitude towards the brand. A\nwell-intentioned joke that falls flat can ruin a party, similarly failing to be\nfunny can backfire &amp; damage the brand image. However, many businesses use\nmemes &amp; still want to be taken seriously to drive engagement among buyers\nwith an intention to make it viral for attaining different business goals such\nas improving brand awareness, increasing brand consideration, increasing\nfollowers, and more. But they overlook its nature of virulence which can affect\nthe masses if not handled properly. Marketers save efforts and time in order to reach millions of\naudiences at one go with an intention to build awareness and trigger actions\namong them. Being a\nDigital Marketer, you need to know how to bring traffic on your website and\nwhich part of your website should influence visitors to take action. Learn to\ncreate relevant, fresh, popular and high quality content more frequently to\ninform crawlers for its database updation &amp; ranking.
